Sanjiv Goenka the chairperson of the RPSG Groups is the owner of Lucknow Super Giants Team 2022. Gautam gambhir is the mentor of the LSG Team.
The 2022 Indian Premier League season starts on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, with previous year’s finalists Chennai Super Kings and Shreyas Iyer’s Kolkata Knight Riders meeting.
The tournament will also welcome two new franchises this season: the Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans. On March 28, the two teams will play in their first IPL encounter. Owner of Lucknow IPL team Sanjiv Goenka paid INR 7,090 crores for the Lucknow Super Giants.
